Xianghai Nature Reserve, China and

Muraviovka Nature Park, Russia

Art in a Box is working in partnership with the International Crane Foundation (ICF) on an environmental art education project for children in need who live near Xianghai Nature Reserve in northeast China and at the Muraviovka Nature Park in northeast Russia. The project links students and teachers along the east Asia crane flyway with students and educators in the United States. The wetland reserves are home to endangered nesting and migrating species of cranes. Our activities include:

The Note Card Project

Note cards created by children at the Xianghai Primary and Middle Schools enable students to understand that people around the world can learn from each other to solve similar conservation challenges. The sale of these note cards supports environmental education in Xianghai, China. View Note Cards
