Rural Village Art Classes & Village Library Support
Takeo Province, Cambodia
Art in a Box is committed to helping rural villages, where poverty and a lack of
basic infrastructure impact children’s lives, with art classes, art supplies and books for village libraries. In
partnership with Project Aid Khmer (PAK), we conducted village art classes and
provided art instruction books and children's literature in Khmer and English
to a Rural Village Library in Takmao, Cambodia. The library is one of the first rural libraries in
Cambodia. We believe that art and literacy will bring about positive changes
for the village children and their communities!
Art in a Box teachers conduct an Art and Literacy lesson at a village school.
