Village Art and Literacy Centers

Art in a Box is committed to helping communities in need with the development of
art and literacy centers. In partnership with Project Aid Khmer (PAK), we
provide art supplies, art instruction books and children's literature in Khmer
and English to a Rural Village Library in Takmao, Cambodia. The library is one of the first rural libraries in
Cambodia. We believe that art and literacy will bring about positive changes
for the village children and their communities!
Art in a Box is helping to develop an Art and Literacy Center for AIDS Orphans at New Hope for Cambodian Children’s Village for AIDS Orphans. The donations of children’s books and art supplies are lasting gifts that will enrich the lives of the
children and help them develop their talents.
Art in a Box teachers conduct an Art and Literacy lesson at a village school.
Art in a Box is helping to develop an Art and Literacy Center for AID Orphans in
